School has started - it is time to feed food-insecure students on weekends

Support Ridge Civic and Longwood Blessings and come down to the fair

While lots of people will claim that kids nowadays are hopelessly addicted to their screens, we at Ridge Civic know they still find magic in popping bubbles, building and creating with plain old cardboard and masking tape, and just using their imaginations.

Come see for yourselves at the Brookhaven Country Fair! Swing by Ridge Civic’s popular booth and watch teens and children engaging in simple, old-fashioned family fun. Or get into it yourself and enjoy a little time away from the hustle & bustle with your kids or grandkids.

From 10 to 5 on Sat, 9/21, and Sun, 9/22, the fair will be at Longwood Estate. Our Ridge Civic booth is by the Ridge Schoolhouse and will again feature our Bubble Base, Cardboard Construction Zone, Art Creation Station, and Ridge Civic Beanbag Toss.

Last year the event was canceled for rain, so we are really eager to get back into seeing all of you!

Local youth (age 12 to college students) can volunteer at our booth and receive a signed Ridge Civic community service certificate at the end of their shift. The volunteer sign up form is here: https://forms.gle/LmoZCkPvSHxaFnQi6
