Another successful PAL exceptional senior all-star game in the books. Dotune favored the North team this year but a great time was had by all!! See everyone again next year with the y group of senior high school ballers!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the West Islip community in the wake of this absolute heartbreaking tragedy.

Feeling HOT HOT HOT🥵. Good morning Suffolk PAL Football friends! Unfortunately, this heat wave continues into today. We have heat warnings, we have air quality warnings which add up to one thing…..practices are officially cancelled for today Thursday September 7th, 2023. Hopefully not all pools have been closed and you all find a way to stay cool today! PLEASE stay safe and stay cool!

Good afternoon everyone
Any organization that is holding practices this afternoon please be advised that we are on a modified heat alert for today as well!

HEAT ALERT POLICY
1. Modified Heat Alert - When the heat index reaches 88 (equivalent to T.H.I. of 73), practice sessions or contests in all sports must include:
a. Forced, frequent water breaks (every
10-15 minutes).
b. Loose clothing, light colored shorts and tee shirts (mesh recommended) for practice sessions.
c. Frequent rest breaks in shaded areas.
d. For football and lacrosse, mandatory water breaks every 15 minutes during which all players must remove helmets. Those players not participating in contact activities during practice, games or scrimmages shall not wear helmets.
