These students purchased “Picnic with the Principal “ at the Mustang Store. This was a wonderful event and Mr. Smith enjoyed his time with these Mustangs.
Last week our amazing TK students carried out a play of The Little Red Hen. We are proud of these students!
Our 5th grade leaders are collecting items to donate to Olive Crest. They will be collecting items until Tuesday, May 28. If you are interested in donating items, please drop them off in the office. Thank you!

Last night, Pochih Chang was recognized as Mabel Paine’s Community Honoree. Pochih always has a smile on her face and is willing to serve in any capacity on campus. This year she chaired our successful Jog-A-Thon and also designed all the materials for the event. Pochih designs all our t-shirts, flyers and logos for our school. She also volunteers in classrooms and provides extensive support to our staff. We are so appreciative of Pochih! Congratulations on your well-deserved honor!
Last Friday, May 17, our third grade students enjoyed a field trip to Santiago Oaks. The students had a wonderful time during this field study.
Last week our preschool and transitional kindergarten students enjoyed a visit from the Traveling Scientist. The students enjoyed this learning experience!
Our Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Gates, visited Mrs. Lewis’s class and could see how hard they were working in their small groups!

Today our fourth grade students went on a field trip to Irvine Park. They got to further explore California history. You can see they had a wonderful time!

Today’s dress up theme was “Put your thinking caps on.” All students were encouraged to wear hats. This is the second day of our dress up themed days getting us in the mindset for state testing.
Today was the first day of our dress up themed week. These dress up days are helping us get ready for next week’s state testing. Today we wore western wear as we gear up for state testing.
