Closing the stand at market was bittersweet. Some of the bitter…I’ll miss so many friends I’ve made there both customers and other vendors.

Naked Chick Art has called Central Market home for 5 years and it’s come time to fly the coop.
There are so many fond and fun memories from my time at Market. I’ve met so many fantastic people that have become friends. Plus, several opportunities became available to me because of this micro business inside this beautiful building. I was on the Nightly News interviewed by Harry Smith (Wow! What a cool guy) and painted an enormous mural in the Market District York….just to name a few.
Thank you to all the art lovers, patrons and fellow artists that have kept the stand going over the years. I really appreciate all your support.
Wipe those tears…This isn’t goodbye forever…you can still find me in a slightly bigger nest in Marietta, PA. My new shop, The Artful Nest, that I have been working very hard to make a happy place for me and everyone that walks through the door.
I’ll be open on Saturdays until Easter weekend so you have time to visit before the Chick leaves the building!

The silent auction for our Born to Be Wild Baby Shower opens NEXT WEEK!
We're hosting the silent auction virtually, to allow those who may not be able to attend the event to show their support! The auction includes items for various local businesses and artists like Prince Street Cafe, York, Refillism, Midtown Cinema, Jabebo Studio, Brown's Orchards, Naked Chick Art, CARA: Crafters & Artisans for Rescued Animals, Animal Hospital of Dauphin County, and Natahnee Miller. The auction also includes one of a kind paintings created by our ambassador animals.
