Singing feels good and you CAN sing! These classes introduce Classical Indian music and offer vocal techniques to improve your singing and speaking voice. This is vocal breath work that calms the nervous system and relaxes the mind.
Arizona here we come! Unlock the fifth chakra associated with the throat by vocalizing the ancient Indian music scale. You will be introduced to the 2,500 year old music used for meditation, called Raga. This experience is suitable for all levels, from seasoned musicians to those with no musical background. All singers can expect a fun and relaxing introduction to Raga and meditation.

Everyone can sing in this FUNdamental workshop that taps into the sounds of India through an ancient vocal practice known as Khyal. The word Khyal means, “imagination” and the style of music is an invitation for poetic expression. Learn the Indian music scale with a few exercises, sing an uplifting song, and close with a silent meditation.
