Artist’s must be 18 years of age or older.

Description: The Yuma Art Center invites artists from throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico for this all-media juried art show. Artists are encouraged to enter artwork in any media. The exhibition is open to all visual media, including but not limited, to the following: ceramic, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed-media, painting, paper, photography, printmaking, and wood.

Prizes include: first place, $750; second place, $450; third place, $250.

Criteria for Selection: The exhibition is open to all visual media, excluding multimedia (video or projections). All artwork must be of original idea and assembly, created within the last two years and not previously exhibited in the Yuma Art Center. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Each piece must not exceed 36 x 36 x 36 inches and must not weigh more than 100 pounds. All applicants must be 18 years or older and be residents of the United States, Canada or Mexico.

🍋It’s been quite the year, and we’ve come a long way. For those of you that don’t know, this photo is how this whole thing started. There’s a lot of you just joining us and there’s a lot of you that have watched the wackiness unfold on our little corner.
🍋As “The Lemon Grove” heads into its, can you believe it, 6th month, I’d like to give some updates, our 24/25 crop is set and is chugging right along.
🍉Melons are almost here! On top of the same old Watermelons, Cantaloupe, and Honeydews, we’re also going to have Sugar Daddy Watermelons, PureHeart mini watermelons, Tuscan Melons, SunnyGold yellow watermelons, SugarKiss, HoneyKiss and SumerKiss Melons as well!
🍑Peaches are frustratingly slow, good news is the birds haven’t gotten them. Peaches are no fun when they’re not ripe so I’m not gonna push it.
🌽The Sun Belt moves east and the Brawley Sweet Corn will give way to the more tender Arizona varieties here in a couple weeks.
🌶 Green Chilis are also shaping up to make their Debut as well! Nothing like fresh Green Chilis
🍎🍏 Why am I selling apples and dragonfruit? What’s that about? I’m driving to get corn and strawberries and figured since im driving, I might as well fill up the vehicle.
🐝🐝Bees are doing their thing, melon pollinating is going strong and some are headed up to the white mountains to collect our Camelthorn Blossom Honey and some are headed south of gila bend to grab all the pollen off of the mesquite trees that are blooming for our Mesquite Honey! There’s also some various seed crop pollinating going on.
🌳🌳🌳 Our New Plantings are coming along just swimmingly, and it’s all for the people of Yuma to enjoy, we grow fruit for people all over the planet, but these were planted with you in mind.
🍋Being a Sunkist Grower is great, but actually seeing the people you share a community with enjoy this thing we’ve been doing for generations is truly a special feeling.
🖤 Thank You for supporting our Local Family Farm. The last 5 months have been fun, and we’re not pumping the brakes, just wait til you see what’s next!

🍓To avoid a giant circus you can stop by The Lemon Grove at any time today and pay for your berries and simply come and pick them up when they arrive! Limit one flat per customer. $25 half, $45 whole. We have 250 flats being picked fresh out of the field as we speak. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP TODAY, WE DO NOT HAVE OUR NEW REFRIGERATION UNIT YET SO I CAN NOT KEEP THEM. Dole Whip is Lemon 🍋

🖌🎨🤩🩰The Children's Festival of the Arts 2024 ' is happening today, Saturday, April 20th, from 10am to 3pm! Come and enjoy fun, hands-on art activities from our community! 🖌🎨🤩🩰
The festival has taken over Main Street with 50+ arts and crafts booths full of make-and-take projects for attendees. All activity booths are free for attendees. Children's Festival of the Arts also features performances by local dance studios and music groups, a special youth art exhibition inside the Yuma Art Center, and several food vendors!
