I’m working hard to become stronger and confident (physically and mentally)

🏋What is your favorite Fuel Fitness moment?
My favorite fitness moment is making new friends and enjoying the laughs in class; especially after a long day of work.

🏋How has your health/ fitness changed since starting Fuel Fitness?
What's changed is my motivation to get through the day, and my water intake has increased since starting at Fuel Fitness.

🏋What are some of your recent accomplishments/aha moments?
I competed in my first CrossFit Fuel the Fire event, and it was an amazing feeling to know I challenged myself to do something outside of my comfort zone, while also supporting a foundation for Yuma Children Burn Survivors.

🏋What is a goal you want to accomplish?
I want to accomplish building more muscle mass on my upper body and strength

🏋Do you notice any changes or unexpected changes since joining Fuel Fitness?
I’ve noticed muscle mass and upper body strength.

🏋Any advice for someone just starting?
Begin with manageable workouts and gradually increase intensity and duration as your fitness level improves. Celebrate small victories along the way to stay motivated.:)

🎯What are some of your recent accomplishments/aha moments?
I was able to improve my running speed and and lift weights much heavier than I thought possible.

🎯What is a goal you want to accomplish?
I am primarily a runner and have been running half marathons for the last 10 years. My goal now is to run a full marathon, which I am planning to do this coming summer.

🎯How has your health/ fitness changed since starting Fuel Fitness?
I am stronger, more energetic, I sleep better, and my body is more toned up.

🎯Do you notice any changes or unexpected changes since joining Fuel Fitness?
I now have muscles on my arms and legs, and I love it!

🎯Any advice for someone just starting?
Be patient and don't give up. It will be hard at first, but rest assured awesome changes will come.

I feel a sense of accomplishment with each workout.

🏋What are some of your recent accomplishments/aha moments?
I recently hit a 300lb back squat,

🏋What is a goal you want to accomplish?
Completing a workout with pull ups and box jumps unscaled and getting down to under 20% body fat

🏋How has your health/ fitness changed since starting Fuel Fitness?
Establishing a healthy routine that I actually look forward to and also joining a community who cares about me outside of the walls of the gym

🏋Any advice for someone just starting?
You are NEVER going to regret a workout. Stop in and try CrossFit, Body Burn, or Fuel Fit. What's the worst thing that can happen? Probably that you spent an hour moving your body that maybe you didn't fall in love with. But the best that can happen? You can join a community of like-minded individuals who support you, encourage you, and walk alongside you as you prioritize your health and wellness!

Here is a great way to start your Wednesday☀️ Today is two 6 min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) with deadlifts, strict press and a devils press!😈Make sure to rest for 2 minutes between AMRAP.

A devils press broken down is a dumbbell burpee, bring weight to shoulder and overhead press.

This WOD Wednesday enjoy a Tabata💪

:20 seconds on and :10 seconds rest for 8 rounds - sit-ups first! Then move one to 8 rounds of push-ups, then 8 rounds of jump rope and end with 8 rounds of ground to overhead! (Don’t forget the 1 minute rest between full Tabatas😝)
