Congratulations to Zachary Manor resident Jurunist Mills who recently authored a book- “African American Heroes”! Mark Manning, who works as a nurse here at Zachary Manor, helped Ms. Mills write her book and then the two of them had the book illustrated and published!

Zachary Manor held their “Masquerade at the Manor Senior Citizen Prom” last night!
Our residents had a wonderful time, and all looked so beautiful and handsome. Thank you to the Zachary community for all of the donations of dresses and suits/ties/ sports coats, all of our wonderful staff who helped get the residents ready, our barbers and beautician, and volunteers who helped decorate.
Also, thank you to Jennifer Jenkins for the donation of flowers; 💐 Lauren with Porch & Parish for fruit tray 🍎; and St. Joseph’s Hospice for donation of sandwich tray 🥪.
We could have not had such a wonderful event without the help of everyone involved! A special shout out to Neo Photo for bringing the Photo Booth to prom!
