📌This award is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality American education and fostering global partnerships.

Last month, staff from RIT Kosovo, as part of the ROAMING project, successfully completed the final training in Podgorica! This training marked the culmination of a series of impactful sessions held throughout this year and last year in Tirana, Prishtina, and Podgorica.

Participants engaged in intensive workshops covering a spectrum of critical topics. From refining International Relations Office (IRO) management practices and navigating complex mobility project applications to establishing comprehensive selection criteria and procedures for students and staff.

Additionally, participants delved into strategies for robust support systems for students and staff engaged in mobility programs, ensuring their academic and personal success. The trainings also emphasized the principles and procedures essential for international credit mobility, ensuring smooth transfer and recognition of academic credits between different countries.
A highlight of these sessions was the specialized training on facilitating internships and apprenticeships abroad, equipping our academic staff with the tools to guide students through valuable Erasmus opportunities.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to all trainers, participants, and organizers whose dedication and expertise made these initiatives successful. Your commitment has enriched our institutional knowledge and reinforced our focus on fostering innovation and collaboration globally.

🔸 Lis Musa graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors and received the prestigious RIT Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar Award. Lis has been active in the RITK community, worked in finance roles for 3 years, and secured a job at one of the world's largest consulting firms. His capstone project is set to be published at RIT Main.

🔸Shpat Musa has had a diverse career journey, from RIT Dubai to Deloitte Kosovo, and is now a Senior Associate at PwC in Luxembourg. His double major at RIT Kosovo led to an MSc in Finance at RIT Main.

🔸Bleta Musa has excelled in roles at the Embassy of Canada, ASC, and Crypto Academy. She is now the Senior Auditor and Consultant at ACA. Bleta earned her MSc in Finance with a specialization in Investment Finance from Corvinus University of Budapest.

Today, RIT Kosovo proudly hosted Emina Cunmulaj Honorary Consul of Albania to Florida, philanthropist, and founder of Emina’s Hand, and H.E. Atifete Jahjaga, former President of Kosovo and founder of Jahjaga Foundation, for an inspiring discussion on empowering communities through philanthropy. 💪✨

Emina shared her journey from humble beginnings growing up in Montenegro to Vogue covers, and how her work with the Emina's Hand Foundation is making a positive impact. "There is a sense of love when you give," she said. Emina also credited Fadil Berisha for bringing her to Kosovo for the first time, igniting her passion for helping women in the region.

President Jahjaga inspired all with her advice to always believe in oneself and stand firm in one's values, encouraging women to support each other. 💖👭

📚 His book, "Industrial Policies for Technological Upgrading in Western Balkan Countries," published by Palgrave Macmillan – Springer, offers a comprehensive analysis of the economies of Albania, North Macedonia, and Kosovo, and compares their industrial policies with those of Slovenia. The book proposes a new framework to develop national innovation systems and promote sustainable development.
