In light of the rising dengue cases, it is more important to ensure our surroundings are clean, especially in schools where our children spend a significant amount of time.

Yesterday, September 10, 2024, our dedicated Punong Barangay, Hon. Ma. Cristina B. Sipat, along with the Barangay Council, visited Himoga-an Baybay Integrated School to inspect canals and watery areas where mosquitoes breed. 🦟

In response to the rising dengue cases, the council are scheduling a fogging operation at HBIS next week to protect our community and the children. Let’s stay vigilant and keep our surroundings clean to combat dengue together! 💪

Celebrating Nutrition Month and Breastfeeding Month! 🎉

Barangay Himoga-an Baybay celebrates the culmination of Nutrition Month and Breastfeeding Month with 29 amazing mothers in attendance.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Mary Visie B. Tajanlangit, our City Nutrition Action Officer, for sharing invaluable insights on maintaining health and fitness, and for guiding us on how to take good care of our children.

A special thanks to our Barangay Nutrition Scholar, Mrs. Selda M. Sta. Ana, for her dedication in coordinating the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

We also appreciate the contributions of Mrs. May Lina Juanico, Norita A. Pagunsan, Kimberley Salve, and Grace Gamao for their efforts in teaching the mothers during the 5-day Nutrition for Behavioral Change program.

To the 29 mothers who participated, thank you so much! Your presence made this event a success. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Today, the Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA) successfully conducted its monthly meeting for 54 social pensioners at the Sitio Hupac Health Center.

The session was led by our dedicated OSCA representative, Ma’am Thelma Sumbi, and the BHW President, Liane Abuhat.

Yesterday, July 23, 2024, marked a significant event for Hupac Health Workers as we celebrated the culmination of Nutrition Month 2024!

Under the leadership of BNS Mrs. Richel M. Acosta, the 5-day Pabasa sa Nutrisyon was a resounding success, attended by 29 dedicated nanays from Sitio Hupac. We are grateful to our Punong Barangay, Hon. Ma. Cristina B. Sipat, who generously gave 2kg of rice with "balde" as tokens of appreciation to these hardworking mothers.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Raquel Cabahug, Lowil Pastor, and Cyrene Salimbot for their invaluable contributions to the event. Special appreciation also goes to Mrs. Mary Visie B. Tajanlangit for her support and involvement.
