Please don’t feel like you have to buy food from us at the farm when visiting the cinema.

We understand that people have food intolerances/allergies or fussy eaters etc and it can be a nightmare making sure your food is safe when not preparing it yourself. So feel free to bring some of your own food.

Having said that, we are relying on plenty of you buying food from ourselves because we aren’t getting any of the ticket money. The only money we will make at the cinema is from food sales. So if possible please buy something even if it’s just a milkshake or some chips. It’s all appreciated.

We’ll have burgers, chips, hotdogs and nachos in The Littlest Kitchen and milkshakes, hot drinks and treats in The Littlest Dairy

In just one week our outdoor cinema will be starting at the farm.

Wonder Cinema have done a brilliant job in arranging it all and have got dance acts and performers before each film.

The Littlest Dairy will be open until the films start serving our delicious milkshakes, milk, ice creams, teas, coffees and plenty of other treats.

The Littlest Kitchen will be serving burgers, chips, hotdogs and nachos from a new larger kitchen.

MJ Sweets will have a sweet stall

Fun Times Face Painting will be with us

Van Goffi - Artisan Coffee will be serving freshly cooked doughnuts and hot drinks

Lady-A's Brownie will have a stall selling the same brownies we sell in the dairy on weekends

Plus there’ll be popcorn, cocktails and plenty more…

The cinema is on nearly every evening for two weeks and you must buy tickets beforehand. You can’t just turn up and pay on the door.

So on Sunday 7th July, we and SpeakUp Mental Health & Wellbeing are hosting a mens mental health and wellbeing event at Pencoed Fach Farm Blackwood

We have planned so much for the day and it’s going to be a event not to missed we have many workshops going on with some of the top people in their industry including Brazilian jiu jitsu with Richard Shore

The wellbeing walk for Sunday will be run from this event and we’ll be starting at a later time of 9:30am, the walk will be an hour or so in Duration and pretty flat and accessible to men of all abilities

Tickets are £10 for the event which will run until 4pm,

From 12pm today and tomorrow we’ll be serving our regular pizza menu, nachos and hotdogs plus our new special:

We’ve got our equipment sorted, found an amazing local fresh seafood supplier and we are fine tuning our recipe as we speak.

You’ll be able able to enjoy your food in a beautiful countryside setting on our family farm. Bring your friends and family and make it a meal to remember.

We’ll be taking bookings for our first seafood boil from next week so keep an eye on our page.

We may not be quite ready for the full on seafood boil experience this weekend but we will have something just as special for you!

Not long to go until our men’s event kicks off.

Being the first of its kind in our area, there’s was (and still is) a lot of uncertainty about the levels of interest, whether people will engage with it and even whether men here in the valleys are ready for something like this.

Uptake has been good but, as always, I want more. I want more men to attend, more men to experience a safe and supportive place, more men to take that step towards connection and mutual support, building on the great work men’s walking and talking groups are already doing

We’ve been having terrible trouble with birds eating our freshly planted seeds lately and we’ve been thinking of ways to stop them.

Then we remembered we still had a few scarecrows left from our scarecrow competition last year! So we’ve plonked them in the field to see if they’ll help.

Not sure how realistic they need to be to work but I guess it’s worth a try 😂

Do you reckon we should add arms to SpongeBob and Mickey? 💪🦾

We are open (nearly) everyday 😊

We still get messages asking if we are open and I think some people still think we are only open when we’ve got events on.

We are open nearly every day of the year (we close for a couple of days at Christmas). So you can pop up for milk, milkshakes and treats any day.

You can see the animals in The Little Meadow everyday through the summer too! They’ll probably be there until September or October depending on the weather.

We don’t charge to see the animals and the truth is you don’t have to buy anything at all when you visit but we really do appreciate you buying a milkshake or some animal feed. Our milkshake cups are just £2 and animal feed is £1 a bag.

So if you need to get outside to clear your head or let your kids burn off some energy then feel free to pop up any day of the week.
