It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Grethe!
Grethe's journey at DDP Physiotherapy has come to an end. We wish her good luck and many blessings on her new journey with her own practice!
Grethe has been an excellent addition to our family and it is bitter sweet to see her go, but we will forever be grateful for the passion, compassion and skills she brought to all her patients and us at DDP Physiotherapy.

This patient had a patellar realignment surgery and is doing last bit of physio rehab before we send her off to the biokineticists!

IT IS OUR BIRTHDAY!!!!
It has been a full YEAR of grace and blessings since we opened DDP's doors in 2020! We are so greateful to be able to celebrate this special day. A lot has happened in this time and we only have the Lord's grace to thank for all of it! We have grown and expanded and kept our heads above water with Covid19.
We would love to thank everyone for your constant support and encouragement and the possibility to keep serving! We are very thankfull for the DDP community!

Do you struggle with headaches?
Frequently headaches come from tight neck muscles! These tight muscles can form trigger points which refers pain around the skull area.
Here are some stretches and exercises that can help to release and strenghten these muscles!
-Deep neck muscle stretch. Hold each stretch 30s and repeat x3
-Tennisball rolls: roll x10 times to each side on each spot
-Deep neck flexor strengthening: Do 10 head lifts and repeat x2
-Deep neck extensor strengthening: Do 10 extensions and repeat x 2

📍The dynamic stabilizers of the shoulder joint are the rotator cuff muscles, which keep the humeral head within it's socket.
📍The rotator cuff muscles include the supraspinatus, infraspintus, teres minor and subscapularis.
