I've been craving sweet and sour pork for ages.
Tried two Chinese take aways and wasted my money...they use frozen processed pork balls...arghh !
I decided to make my own crumbed deep fried pork,sweet and sour sauce from scratch and will never spend R 100/120 on take aways again.

Thank you for polluting the Durban beaches and making swimming in the sea unhealthy.
This act of kindness has send so many of the Indian community to Cape Town who brought Durban mutton bunny chow,mutton curry and mutton biryani with them !

Just had the most amazing mutton briyani from The Spice Gallery for lunch.

Best gift I've been given recently,not expensive but I love it.
Quick braai for two but can easily take 2kg of steak.

Here are two varieties of birds eye,thai or peri peri chiliis...they both grow upwards...
They are both very spicy...
But the one is shorter and plumb while the other is slim and longer
I planted from fresh pods bought as Thai and Birdseye...reputable farmer..
