On Saturday the 15th of June our Manager got together with staff to organize a Youth Day Celebration for all our residents ahead of Youth Day.
Thank you to all our staff who came in on their day off, for dressing up, joining us for the celebrations, and to assist our residents. We appreciate you!❤️

Today the Chairman of our Board, Pieter Swanepoel, took our residents for a drive to the ‘Roadside Owl’ on Rhodes Drive, Constantia.
Thank you Pieter, we loved the outing 🙌🏼

Aunty Ruth knits for charity!
One of our residents, Mrs. Ruth Sickle, knitted 120 pairs of gloves for charity in 2 months! Winter is around the corner, and these will most definitely be put to good use!

Arts at Huis Nuweland! Our residents recently had a Art Exhibition🎨. Their artwork over the last 12 months displayed, all thanks to our trusted Artist who comes in on a weekly basis to spend time with our residents.

Our residents at Huis Nuweland enjoyed their annual end of year spitbraai! A whole lamb on the spit by our Operations Manager Edwin, accompanied by our Manager Pieter, with a beautiful XXL Bottle of red for our residents to enjoy! Our Nursing manager and Admin manager joined in on the fun!

Huis Nuweland – Home for Older People We offer all our residents in all our accommodation options a sense of feeling safe and secure, feeling respected and loved.

On Wednesday we had our AGM, with a talk from our manager, chairperson of the residents committee, and our nursing manager. How blessed we all are with loving staff, exco members, and management who are looking after us.
