Truly Love Coffee Announces Unexpected Closure of Homecoming Centre Location
It is with deep regret that Truly Love Coffee announces the premature closure of its beloved location at the District Six Museum Homecoming Centre. The decision to end the lease before its scheduled expiration in 2027 was made by the District Six Museum who instructed property managers, Neighbourgood to implement a “cooling off” clause as they prefer to go with a chain operation rather than an entrepreneur. At no stage had Truly Love Coffee contravened any clauses of the lease.
Owner Olivia Damon, profoundly saddened by this unexpected turn of events, but would like to express her gratitude to the loyal guests who have made Truly Love Coffee a cherished part of the community. The last day of trading at the Homecoming Centre will be on 4 January, 2024.
Truly Love Coffee has been an integral part of the Homecoming Centre, providing a warm and welcoming space for coffee enthusiasts and community members alike.
Despite this setback, Olivia Damon remains optimistic about the future and is actively exploring new locations to continue the Truly Love Coffee legacy. Damon encourages guests to stay connected through the store's social media channels for updates on potential new locations and developments.
In a statement, Damon expressed her appreciation for the community's support in the past and conveyed her hope for continued patronage in the future. Truly Love Coffee remains committed to delivering exceptional coffee experiences and looks forward to serving its valued guests in a new location soon.
