Remember that you can get your glucose level checked at any of our clinics for just R55 AND get a HbA1c screening for FREE - this is a great way to assess how well your body converts food into energy and expels the excess sugar from your bloodstream.

What a wonderful, feelgood afternoon: Our Community Walk was a huge success!
Though the wind was fierce, our fellow Walkers still made it to the Common to show their support for Cancer Awareness in our GoPink! Event. They were joined by almost 30 Vitacare staff & representatives from both our receiving organisations.
Just over R36K was collected from the public over the last month, which will now be donated to St Luke's & Tygerberg Hospices.
Vitacare Pharmacies will also add their own donation to this total to make it a whopping R45K!
Everyone had a lovely time walking together & gathering for goodies and surprise gifts at the end. Our thanks to everyone who helped, we could not have done it without your support.

We've had such enthusiasm from the teams at Tygerberg Hospice and St Luke's Hospices for our Cancer Awareness Fundraiser. You would be amazed at how many carers, specialists, admins and support staff are active in your community!

Blister Packing is a special dispensing service we offer at our Plattekloof & Rondebosch branches. Customers on multiple medications often have to work out complex systems to manage the timing & dosage for their meds each day. Blister packs are an easy way to ensure you always have the right dose at the right time 😉
Many of the Retirement Homes we serve have Nursing & Admin teams that help their residents starting our blister packing program, so we hosted a Training Breakfast for all those staff. It was a great morning & we were very happy to have the chance to connect with the teams!

Our pharmacy branches have nominated 3 worthy retirement homes in our communities that we will be collecting for through June month. And our collection baskets are hungry!

The residences we've chosen are all welfare-subsidized homes that care for their residents' wellbeing in every way - but they also count on donations from the public to fulfil their many daily needs.
