Congratulations to our very own Sr Liezel for completing the "Velddrif Mile", a 500m Fun Swim on Saturday 12th November.
What a sad time for our practice. Rumbi and Sr Naahid have both left our close-knit wound care "family". Sr Naahid has retired after 4 years with us, though we may still see her when she helps out if we are in a pinch. Rumbi has been forced to leave us after 8 years, and go to the UK because of Visa issues. Farewell to both of you!
Congratulations to the winners of this month's chocolate challenge, Clio Skordis and Sr Mandy Soula. Mandy is new to WoundNet, qualified as a Professional Nurse with over 25 yearsβ experience in a wide range of fields β Trauma, O.R, ICU, and Care of the Elderly. Sr Mandy has a special interest in the management of wounds, and we feel very lucky indeed to be welcoming her into our practice.
WoundNet is sad to announce that Sister Terry is leaving us after nearly 3 years. As she moves into a new venture, we wish her luck and success, always! Good luck and goodbye Terry, we will miss you.

Sonja has joined our team as an advanced wound care practitioner, as from the 1 June this year.
Sonja graduated as a professional nurse from Stellenbosch University in 2003 Cum Laude. She has since added multiple academic honours and merit awards to her name. Sonja is fluent in English, Afrikaans and German. Special interests include travelling, hiking, painting, reading and cooking. Great to have you on board Sonja!
