The Story
El-Rome was established in 2017 by 2 life time friends who had ventured into various successful business avenues together over the years. Their kids’ love for pizza gave birth to the idea of turning a home-made pizza making passion into a business.
Our pizzas are definitely made in the authentic Italian style of wood fire, just adds the "original" into pizza, the ingredients follow the Italian method of toppings, you can "see" the toppings, the taste, well - you close your eyes and you in Italy.
Strandfontein in particular has been starved of good quality food at an affordable rate for far too long.
The vision of El-Rome was to stand out above the competition, to bring real pizza to the people of Strandfontein and the surrounding areas, at a reasonable cost, although we refuse to spare expense on quality ingredients, ensuring you get the taste you paid for. We have thus far achieved what we have set out to do and still in process of expanding our horizons to introduce more flavours to our menu and more variety as well. Our Patrons bear testimony to this, most of whom have become regular supporters of El-Rome.
