Kingdom Authority

Spiritual dominion and authority are not accomplished by simply confessing and speaking words, even though confession is a vital part of dominion-authority praying.

However, confession alone is not the origin and the root of dominion power and authority.

(Confessing and speaking the Truth in authority is an effect – it is not the source of dominion power).

The power or the authority of spiritual dominion working in a believer’s life begins with your position before The Father.

Luke 7:8-9
For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

The Son of God, was always submitted to His Father. Jesus repeatedly said,

John 5: 19
“I do what my Father says” – “I speak what I hear my Father speak”. His authority came from being under the Father’s authority!

Kingdom authority comes from the throne of the King. To be submitted to the King on the throne is the root of kingdom authority in your life. It is not possible to dominate in the image and likeness of God without submission to the King.

The power and authority that Jesus possessed was due to the position that He took before His Father. He was always submitted!

John 5:30
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

You only possess as much power to the level of your submission to Kingship authority!

There's something special that happens when God's people gather together in unity. God says He'll be there and He'll command His blessing!

Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

That space between the promise and the performance is crucial. Many blessings are aborted in this stage called “wait” or “not yet”.

As much as we would like to, we can’t bake a cake sooner by turning up the heat. Neither can we rush God’s Will by worrying or complaining.

But we can do something. Between now and not yet, we can:
1. Worship - put on your favorite worship song and tell God how great He is in your life.
2. Serve - reach out to someone in need and meet it.
3. Journal - write down your thoughts and activities of the day.
One day, you will look back on this experience and see growth!

Occupational Hazards

Deuteronomy 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

There are three (3) mandates God spoke in this verse: remember, consider and ask.

Pride is the great occupational hazard that stands between remaining unchanged and being transformed for God’s Glory.

First, remembering is an independent process. It requires a moment of solitude to reflect.

Secondly, consider means to use one’s mental cognition to discern if the present action is yielding your desired results.

Finally, to ask is a step of humility. In this verse, God is very clear about the people He called to feed us: fathers and elders.

Don’t allow pride to poison your progress! It’s an occupational hazard!

Bring a Bible, a friend, and expectation this Sunday. God wants to do great things in the hearts and lives of His people.🤩

Take Control!
II Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If you have ever driven a vehicle on a slippery road and you lose control for a split second, you know the feeling of fear!

Fear is “false evidence appearing real”

But how do we handle this spirit?

We start with what God has given us . . . “Power”, “Love”, and “Sound Mindedness”.

Power is strength to take dominion. Love is the nature of God. And a sound mind is self control.

Never give control of your life to anyone but God!

Keep your hands in God’s Hands and on the steering wheel of your life. Things will straighten out.

Get lost in it!
Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Can you be depended upon to operate at the highest optimum level for a sustainable period of time?

That’s what the nobleman expected of every servant in his household. He said “occupy” until I return.

Occupy means to be totally consumed with the affairs of another; specifically, the nobleman.

A noble servant does not have to be watch every single moment because he is committed to serve Christ to the fullest!

Since we have been blessed with talent, time and treasures that belong to our Lord, let’s busy ourselves doing His Will, His Way! And get lost in it!
