Theme of the Week: *July the 7th month*
Did you know that the mind of God revolves around numbers, measure and weight. You can't read a chapter in the Bible without coming a cross either numbers, measurements or weight. Among other ways, God speaks in numbers. Do you come across numbers in dreams or day time? Wake up, God could be speaking to you. Job 33:14
Jesus again spoke in a grouping of seven when He used seven metaphors to describe Himself as the path to salvation, the perfect reward for a good and faithful servant. Jesus tells us He is:
1- The bread of life (John 6:35);
2- The light of the world (John 8:12);
3- The gate to salvation (John 10:9);
4- The good shepherd (John 10:11);
5- The resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26);
6- The way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6); and
7- The vine (John 15:5).
In addition, King David referenced the number seven in describing the perfect nature of God’s words when he wrote that the Lord’s words are flawless, “like gold refined seven times” (Psalm 12:6).
May God's word refine you this month of July and may He perfect your life for His Glory
