Container fraud is sadly rife throughout the world. Please do due diligence before leasing or purchasing a container. Even if the container company name is a well-known one, there are fraudulent businesses using reputable companies' names to defraud businesses and individuals. If you are in South Africa, we recommend you visit the Container Fraud website (https://lnkd.in/dJTibxiM) and search the verified business directory. Whenever you are investing in a container, please check the residential address, telephone number, Google Business, and website of the business you are engaging with. Make sure you are in fact getting a quote or invoice from the existing, established business and not one simply using the name.
