Glenwood Preparatory School

Welcome back to our four young mathematicians who travelled to Hong Kong for the Primary Mathematics World Contest: Tayla Slabbert, Cameron Swindon, Kian Snyman and Maariya Ganey. The pupils enjoyed meeting and competing against pupils from other countries, and got to see many exciting places in Hong Kong. They were chaperoned by Mrs Locke and Mrs Phillips.

The Grades 2's had a super fun filled day yesterday on their excursion to the Chicken Run in Kloof.

An educational day was had by Gr 4Mi and Gr 4P at their excursion to Treasure beach today🪼🪸🐚

Grade 4Mo and Grade 4E spent a wonderful day at Treasure Beach, learning about sea creatures and exploring rock pools ❤️

Congratulations to both our U12A and U13A netball girls for winning the KZN leg of the SA schools Champs today.
It was a great day of netball where we won all our matches.
Girls now head off to Gauteng in July for the SA Champs! Well done to all involved, we are so proud 👏

Congratulations to our seventeen Glenwood Prep pupils who came in the Top 100 at the Horizon Maths Competition, hosted by Star College. 12000 pupils participated in Round 1 and 54 of our pupils qualified for Round 2. A special mention goes to Ella Luo (8th), Zach Hopf (7th), Misa Van Niekerk (6th), Rhea Mark (3rd) and Alan Varghese (1st). We are extremely proud of all of our mathematicians!
