Our Story

The renovation of the Chamonix building now transformed into The Design Factory was the catalyst that created Durban's newest creative precinct on Station Drive.

The building now provides a variety of commercial spaces from small(20m2) to large(250m2) offices and studios to full floors(1000m2) for a range of creative, technology and lifestyle companies.

The influx of complimentary business has created a convenient pool of services in close proximity and this is resulting in various companies, start-ups and freelancers working together on mutually beneficial projects.

We are ideally located just off Umgeni Road which connects the northern and eastern suburbs to the city. Our position overlooks some of Durban’s most iconic features such as the Moses Mabhida and Kings Park Stadiums and the various adjacent sporting complex's, The Lion Match Factory, The Stables, Durban Country Club, the north/south train tracks and the Indian Ocean beyond that.
