Post 2/2 Basil 🌿 Essential Oil:
How and what do you use Basil for in your medicine cabinet?
I love studying the science of nature and knowing how natural medicine can benefit us.
Basil research shows that it helps decrease stress hormones in the brain resulting in reducing feelings of stress. It also has The ability to boost mood, as well as BDNF in the brain which is tied into mood and trauma.
Some other interesting research studies show that it reduced neuronal atrophy in the hippocampus and dentate gurus and decreased cell death.
I think my favorite way to apply basil is in a veggie capsule with one drop of basil and three drops of lemon essential oil.
The gut - brain access is one of the most powerful ways to influence and improve brain health!
we have so much power in our hands through nature to change our health ♥️
