Thank you for all the parkrunners and volunteers who braved the cold, rain, and wind to enjoy the first event due to a waterlogged course, we are super glad that we are back on track
Good day parkrunners. We checked the course and it is dry and we will be holding our event. There is some rain and wind forecast but it will not make the track too wet, so we are going Forward with our event. Hope to see you all there
Good day, Benguela Cove is still sorting our drainage on the route to alleviate the excess water. We commend Benguala Cove for all the effort they are putting in and we are thankful and grateful to have such accommodating hosts. We will be uprunning in a couple weeks, we are making every effort to be on track as soon as possible, however the safety of our parkrunners is our primary concern and we will have a drier safer route shortly. Thank you Benguela Cove for your efforts, so sadly we will have to wait another week, and we will check the route next week and we are hopeful that we will have an event, hove an awesome day.
Unfortunately, due to gale force winds, the Benguela Cove Parkrun has to be cancelled. The conditions are extremely dangerous. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Good news, Benguela Cove have decided to hold our ebent on Saturday. Couple of muddy places but a lot drier than previous weeks, so just take it easy at the couple of spots, the rest of the track in nice and dry, and let's have a nice scenic parkrun
Hi, unfortunately our track is still not dry, it takes so long for the surface water to dry up. Benguela Cove is busy making plans to assist with removing the surface water but it is still been constructed, sorry everyone, it saddens us to have to keep cancelling
After course inspection the track is still very wet and muddy and we will rather ensure the safety of our loyal parkrunners, hopefully the track will dry out sufficiently for us to be back on track next week. It is very difficult to cancel parkruns and it is a hard decision
Morning, unfortunately the overnight rain made us unable to hold the event
Morning, unfortunately we have had to cancel the event on Saturday 13/07/2024 due to the course being unsafe from all the rain, with still more forecasted today, tomorrow, and Saturday
