Naomi has a never ending love for chilli. She has learnt new tricks on how to make the best chilli sauces, under the sun! If you can’t find her at markets, you will definitely find her tasty products in our store!
Asian Fusion Sauces - allows your chicken to have a Smokey Flavour and soy sauce gives the hint of Asian.
Red/Green Jalapeño - perfect for pizza, burgers and toasted Sarmies for an extra kick!
Cowboy Candy - chopped Chillie with a bit of sweet pickle.
Chilli Crush - is the best! Crushed up Chillie just what you need to spice up your dish. Be advised, it’s not a cook in sauce.

I'm sure you have seen these grinders at most restaurants - why? Because it is one of the best grinders. I have refilled my grinder 3 times and it works like a dream. Today I speak about Wonderful Wandiswa. If you ever want someone as hard working as this lady (Find yourself a Wandi) Unfortunately, we love her too much that she AIN'T GOING ANYWHERE.

Wandi has so much motivation to work, full of energy and eager to talk to customers. It was amazing teaching Wandi how to make stock, she was confused on why we were using whole onions, carrots and celery in water - I simply said to her "FOR FLAVOUR" The next day Wandi tried it at home and her family was blown away, they insist she cooks every night.

If you haven't met this cool chick, Wandiswa will brighten your day, Don't you worry :)

I don't know about you but finding local cheese in Hillcrest has been bit tricky - NOT TODAY. Da Sabre Deli offers Upper Highway a range of beautiful tasty local cheese (shhh, they even give tasters) we have a one Danish cheese, called Regato, if you a lover of strong parmesan cheese (marry the regato). If you like more soft, creamy cheese, Emmental is a swiss style cheese with a sweet and nutty taste. (My word, you gotta try this)

We have the pasta, pesto and bread for this treat.

So, I’ve been working here at Da Sabre Deli for a year and what a change it has been. So grateful to have an amazing boss - giving me the opportunities to make any food I want - from trying wraps, salads, burgers. We have come to decision of sticking to wholewheat open sandwiches, pizzas, burgers. To the vegetarians - I have amazing food for you!

Please don’t be shy to come try us out. You have the opportunity of meeting me (the chef, manager) which is different. Most places, you never really get to see who makes the food.
