Indalomed is delighted and honoured to be awarded the AstroQuiz 2017 project by the Department of Science and Technology in partnership with SAASTA/NRF. Our Science Education and Outreach team have thus partnered with SALT (Southern African Largest Telescope), Northern Cape Department of Education and the Mothibistad Science in launching this project. We kindly invite science aspiring individuals, parents, learners, NGOs,businesses and ward councilors from communities in the Northern Cape to come forward and show support to the schools that have registered to take part in this tournament. The tournament starts on the 26 May 2017 with the 3rd and 4th round of the tournament taking place in Sutherland at the SALT Observatory Science Centre. The National Finals with take place in Pretoria on from the 4-5th October 2017. We look forward to all the schools that will be participating and we wish you all the best and that you will have fun and enjoy the Astronomy quiz.
