Gauteng Department of Social Development West Rand Region partnered with Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) and various stakeholders to host a Substance Abuse Awareness and Prevention Programme at Mogale City Local Municipality.
The purpose of the Awareness session was to share information and raise awareness on how to access services for people affected by the scourge of substance abuse. We were happy with the engagements made and await more implementation from the parties involved.
Gongota_Creations_foundation NPO used this opportunity to give more knowledge to those recovering from substance abuse and how to mentally cope during the recovery process.
Gongota_Creations_foundation NPO was invited to be part of The NYS-NPO Learning Forum that aimed at empowering and capacitating youth-led Non-Profit Organisations with information, knowledge, and skills to help them achieve their objectives as well as comply with all the regulatory frameworks...an insightful and successful event it was and we hoping for more of these forums.
National Youth Development Agency
