We have put in place certain measures to ensure that the experience of each spectator will not be interrupted. Please be assured that you will have access to restrooms and water at the stadium during the match.

We urge all ticket holders to please honour the commitment you made when you purchased the ticket and please attend the match. If you have purchased a ticket and will not be attending, please let me know through email or mobile. We will refund your ticket for you and re-sell the tickets through the Quicket website to others who would like to attend, if you choose not to attend.

At the 3rd BRICSCESS conference that was held from 26 to 29 February 2024 in Delhi India, Prof Hans de Ridder was re-elected by the board of BRICSCESS for another term of 4 years as president. Prof Dané Coetzee was elected as a new board member for a term of 4 years.

Congratulations to Dr Retief Broodryk. All the hard work on your PhD has paid off.

Well done to Dr Adele Broodryk. 2nd in the Comrades. Running sub 6 hour race, finishing time 5:56:26. Beating her personal best by 30 minutes.

Dr Adele Broodryk will be taking part in the 2023 Comrades on Sunday.

Proud of the Biokinetics students and their mentor who won the floating trophy for the best waterpoint at the Berts Bricks Great Bricks run in collaboration with Biokinetics Association of South Africa.

The Vice- Chancellor, Prof Bismark Tyobeka, visited the Human Movement Science and CHHP in the newly renovated Building K21, on Thursday 19 January. Visiting the new Biokinetics laboratory as well as the newly integrated Sport Science and Biokinetics Institute facilities. See Prof Tyobeka trying out our "space capsule" - namely the BodPod that is used in Kinanthropometry.

The School says goodbye to Prof Anita Pienaar, who presented her Exit Lecture today, after 42 years of service at the North-West University. A pioneer in the field of Kinderkinetics. Prof Pienaar is fondly referred to as the “Mother of “Kinderkinetics”.
