On Saturday, 25th November 2023, the Dr Marcia Lebambo Academy organised its annual graduation ceremony to celebrate the class of 2023.

Our little rays of sunshine entertained the guests with their talents in performing arts, including music, dance, and drama. Proud parents, families, and friends attended the event in large numbers to see their little ones shine like bright stars.

The day ended with a beautiful procession of the purple stars wrapped in their purple regalia, walking one last time as the class of 2023, accompanied by ululations from their family members.

Psalm 127:3 states, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”

We are thankful for the class of 2023 and the joy they brought to us.

Dr Marcia Lebambo Academy hosted another successful graduation ceremony on the 26th of November 2022.

To the our little sunshines of 2022, you are a bright light and we are certain that one day, you will make a positive impact in the world.

Parents' welcome luncheon

During the month of March we hosted our parents to a meet and greet luncheon. This event was important to affirm our partnership in raising the children and affording them quality education.

We believe that parents who are involved in their children's education put the child in a better position for success. We at the academy are committed to supporting you in this journey.

We would love to thank all our lovely parents for honoring this important engagement.

Dr Marcia Lebambo Academy hosted a career day and parents welcoming ceremony on 1 May 2020.

The purpose of the day was to welcome parents, reiterate the academy’s vision and also have them experience what their children have learned from the school. Learners confidently performed and recited monologues with joy and sometimes tears for their parents.

The advent of Covid 19 has brought with it a number of challenges to all aspects of society as we know it including learning. It was therefore essential to meet with parents to reinforce a partnership with them as the academy navigates the ebb and flow of the times.

The event was a great success. Learners showed up in full confidence, parents were reassured that their children are in committed and capable hands, and as the academy, we are pleased to be in partnership with parents for the greater good of our learners.

Our Academy was so blessed to have the presence of legendary actor Mr John Morapama at our recent graduations ceremony. Know for his numerous television roles from Generations, Muvhango and of late, he plays the role of Meshack Magongwa A.KA. Mapitsi's father on Skeem Sam.

We are looking forward to partnering with him in promoting Creative Arts in our Academy.

Exposing learners to arts educational activities is important as it gives them confidence and allow them to express themselves in everything they create. The arts curriculum facilitates for a flexible learning experience for learners with different needs and barriers to learning.

Our little 🌞sunshines🌞 receiving graduations and Christmas presents from their parents.

Indeed, this is the most wonderful time of the year.

It took a dedicated and hardworking team to survive the turbulences of year 2020.

To our teachers, thank you for keeping the ship afloat. You inspired our kids to show-up and attend classes in a very difficult year.

You are loved and appreciated.

On the 7th of December 2020, our Academy celebrated its first Christmas and Graduations Ceremony for class of 2020.

We would like to thank all our teachers, advisors and everyone who was involved in making this historic event a success.

A special thank you to our parents for the great support. Depsite the challenges we've encountered we were able to prioritise the safety and educational needs of our kids.

Lastly to our little *sunshines*, the academy kiddies, You did it.
