One my porcelain Vessels representing Water at the upcoming 5 Elements Exhibition
Water is an essential element for Life. Without it life as we know it would cease to exist.
From ancient times water was revered and people tried to capture some essence in symbolism by assigning a symbol to water.
One of the oldest of these will be the Hebrew Letter “Mem”. In Jewish tradition it represent Water. As depicted on the pewter section of this porcelain vessel.
Looking forward to the 5 Elements exhibition at the Association of Arts Pretoria coming up.
