This is a car seat after a fatal Collison. Luckily the child wasn't in the car at the time, and the seat was donated by a family member.

All of the white lines across the seat are stress marks where the seat buckled and bent during the collision. Car seats are made to buckle and bend like this to absorb and distribute the forces in a collision and prevent it from feeding though to your child's body

Just because Valentine's is behind us, doesn't mean that "the month of love", is over! Love can be shared in so many ways. We're asking you to share the love this with families who can't afford children's car seats, by donating your old car seats at one of our nationwide drop-off points!

Welcome to a new game we like to play called UNSAFE CHILD! It's worryingly difficult to find pictures of children who are safely strapped in to the correct car seat for their size and age. Can you spot the mistakes in this picture?

A car seat is outgrown when the child reaches either the weight or height limit.
The limits can be found on the orange sticker, an ECE seat only has a weight limit you will know that its outgrown by height when the harness dips below the shoulder in forward-facing or more than an inch below the shoulder for rear facing.

February is "the month of love", but love can be shared in so many ways. We're asking you to share the love this February with families who can't afford children's car seats, by donating your old car seats at one of our nationwide drop-off points.
