Congratulations to the following participants that were selected as Semi-finalists in the 12th Young Artist Awards Competition!

The adjudicators' panel is about to determine the 12 Grade Winners for 2024 that will be announced on this page as soon as possible. These artworks will go on display at the Alice Art Gallery in Ruimsig ( https://www.aliceart.co.za/ ) on 14 - 15 June 2024 when the junior and senior winners will be announced.

You can now book your tickets for the Final Round of the 21st National Eisteddfod Academy Young Performer Awards Competition at the Roodepoort Theatre on Saturday 11 May 2024, 18:00. We kept the ticket prizes almost the same as last year in order to attract as many patrons as possible to support our young performers.

QUARTER FINALISTS - DANCE SECTIONS

Here are the names of all the QUARTER FINALIST in the DANCE section for 2024 as selected by the members of the adjudicators' panel during the recent adjudication of all the live performances and video submissions.

After selecting these names of the quarter finalists, the panel finally ranked the top performers in each category. Based on this ranking, the final selection of the Semi-Finalists will be done. These Semi-finalists will compete on 9 May 2024 in the Semi-final round at the Roodepoort Theatre. These names will be published on our page and webpage within the next few days.

The names of the Quarter Round Finalists for Dance, as well as all the large groups will follow soon. These events were adjudicated in a combined 1st and 2nd round due to the need for a large venue. The adjudicators' feedback provided for both the first, and quarter final ranking, in order to acknowledge the participants that would have participated in the quarter final round.

The names of all the candidates and groups that will be competing in the Semi-final Rounds on 8 and 9 May at the Roodepoort Theatre will be announced towards the middle of April. The Final Round will happen on 11 May, also at the Roodepoort Theatre
