Behind those confident smiles are MANY tears.

On the first I went back to work 8 weeks after the baby, I had been praying for for more than ten years, was born. 😭😭😭

The second was on the first day of my TV Show “Uit die Slaapkamer” where the brief was to make me look like an American Politician to give me more credibility (!!! 🤦‍♀️😳)

The last was during the last season of my TV show where the deep sadness for the extreme hardships that my fellow presenters had to suffer due to people’s judgement and discrimination based on the orientation, gender expression and histories of horrendous abuse. All of which they shared openly to educate the public and hopefully make the world a little better. 👏🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻❤️

Sometimes we just have to slap on that smile and keep going. Sometimes we have to let it go and nurture the pain.

So much easier if you are driven by passion for what you do! 😍
