Sometimes doing nothing is the best thing you can do for your body, mind and soul. 💛 And where better than surrounded by blissful scenery as far as the eye can see?

Posted • The winery was built in 2005 and the bar was set high from the start, with the maiden vintage Haskell Pillars Syrah 2007 becoming the first South African wine to take the triple crown of Best Syrah, Best Red Wine and Wine of the Show at the 2009 Tri Nations Wine Challenge between South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Haskell Vineyards is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. The Lily Rosé, is a gold medal winner in the Rose Wine & Spirit Challenge this year. The rose shows notes of watermelon, strawberries with a slight
underlying note of cranberries. ON the palate the wine opens and shows beautiful flavours of strawberries, ripe cherries and has a creamy finish.

The wine pairs so well with the sweet nibbles I received from Haskell. - The pistachio-coated marshmallows, meringue rose-dusted truffle balls, cranberry biscotti

A warm welcome to our new Stellenbosch fundraising partner Longtable Restaurant - Longtable was created not as a glittering showpiece of authentic Cape cuisine, but as a place where unpretentious, flavoursome food could be enjoyed in a relaxing and convivial setting. With their supply of organic vegetables and sustainable fish, they are able to provide not only delicious food, but food that is sustainably sourced, with minimum waste, and zero use of plastics.
