A wine company founded by Seven Sisters and grown from the roots of Southern Africa.
The Seven sisters are biological sisters hailing from Paternoster, a picturesque fishing village on the West Coast of South Africa. The Brutus sisters, along with their baby brother, John, had to leave their home when the family was evicted after their father lost his job of over 20 years with a local fishing company. Now, more than two decades later, they have launched the Seven Sisters Wines as well as the Brutus Family Reserve range.

West Coast to Winelands…
With their roots and heritage firmly rooted in the sandy beaches of the fishing village Paternoster, the seven Brutus sisters have managed to transform a barren piece of land in the Cape Winelands into a West Coast-inspired wine lover's retreat.
Seven Sisters Vineyards, under the leadership of Vivian Kleynhans, is not only a welcoming and warm space and a symbol of determination but also a pioneer in the transformation of the wine industry. It is one of two 100% black women-owned wine estates in South Africa.
The Brutus sisters and their baby brother left the tranquillity of Paternoster at a young age when the family was evicted from their home. The children were separated to live with various relatives. They yearned to return but were not able to do so given the unfavourable circumstances of the time.
Twenty years later, the sisters reunited to create fine wines and launched their Seven Sisters range. Vivian and her six sisters, however, realised that to truly reach their dreams they had to find a home for their business where they could grow and maintain their own vineyards.
