Early morning views from our young Cabernet Franc block.
As we count down to harvest, Nic keeps close tabs on how the grapes are developing. Tasting, tasting and more tasting is a key part of the process to determine when it's time to harvest.
The multicoloured jewelled berries on this cluster are a beautiful illustration of veraison - the period of development where the berries begin transitioning from green to red in red grapes and from an opaque green to a translucent yellow-green, in white grapes. It is a visual part of the ripening process that signals the big event is drawing near: harvest.
Soak up some superb summer weather in our gorgeous valley. Relax in our beautifully appointed tasting room, overlooking our corner of the Banghoek, with magnificent views of our iconic Rondekop.
All the while, enjoying our line-up of spectacular wines.
