Thrilled to share the success of our recent outreach program in Kasama. Thanks to the incredible teamwork of Kitwe Teaching Eye Hospital, Orbis, and the David and Molly Pyott Foundation, many individuals received essential eye care services. Together, we are ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey towards better vision and a brighter future.

It is all about vision and education! With teachers trained in Primary Eye Care, the Qatar Creation Vision project is making a real difference in the Copperbelt province. Now, learners can receive vision screenings right where they learn, setting them up for success both in and out of the classroom.

Today, let's take a moment to appreciate the remarkable women who brighten our lives in more ways than one - including keeping an eye on our eye health! From reminding us to wear our sunglasses to scheduling those important eye exams, mothers play a vital role in preserving our vision and overall well-being. So here's to all the mothers who have taught us to see the world with gratitude and care. Wishing you a day filled with love, laughter, and clear vision!

The Ministry of Health Zambia in partnership with UTHs-Eye Hospital and Orbis International Zambia, will be offering free eye screening at various health facilities in Chongwe district. The eye screening will take place at Ndapula Health Centre on Monday May 13, 2024, Kasisi Health Centre on Tuesday May 14, 2024, Lwiimba Health Centre on Wednesday May 15, 2024, and at Chongwe District Hospital from Thursday May 16 to Friday May 17, 2024, from 9hrs to 16hrs. Individuals with cataracts will be referred to Chongwe District Hospital for free surgery. This service is open to everyone, and we encourage all to come.
