Edward Galante is the co-founder and Executive Director of Mangwana Capital (Pvt) Ltd, an investment advisory firm. He is also the founder of Houses For Africa (Zimbabwe) (Private) Limited (HFA), In Zimbabwe, his companies have completed over 10,000 units of high- and medium density housing. In addition, they have developed over 2,400 residential medium-density stands. The companies have also been active in the development of commercial real estate in Zimbabwe.
He is also a Non-executive Director of CBZ Holdings, Zimbabwe's largest banking group and previously CEO/Founder of Zimbabwe Mortgage Company.
Edward holds a B.A. in history and philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. He is the Chapter Champion and founding Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization chapter in Harare and the past Regional Chairman of the YPO Gold Africa Region (2016-2018).

One of the highlights of 2021 was the graduation of the second cohort of the MicroWorkspace Programme this past September.
The programme is aimed at equipping unemployed urban youth with tech and digital skills that are currently in demand globally. The journey was not an easy one but nevertheless a very fulfilling one.

MicroWorkspace is an entity belonging to Impact Hub Harare, a global community of social innovation spaces composed by like-minded people who want to make our world better.
The MicroWorkspace is a technical training programme for urban youth in Zimbabwe, with the goal to provide participants with technological skills to qualify for jobs in ICT, such as programmers, graphic designers, web designers and search engine optimization experts.
After graduation on this 8-month educational course, the graduates are well-versed professionals capable of optimizing websites on any search engine (SEO), creating relevant content and designing high-quality graphics for webpages. MicroWorkspace developers are also thoroughly prepared to thrive in the business world with soft-skills development in leadership, communications, collaboration, social media management, bookkeeping and more.
Besides receiving mentor-ship, MicroWorkspace’s role is to facilitate graduates’ access to the market by connecting them with national and international companies to generate job, internship and entrepreneurial opportunities.
