Currently, our Generation Thrive Apprenticeship Development Program is in full swing, empowering 18 first-year apprentices on their journey to success. This program, conducted alongside the GFG Alliance career-based Pipeline Program, is meticulously designed to equip apprentices with the skills they need to thrive as valuable workforce members and active community contributors.

The program focuses on soft skill development including:

⭐️ Positive self-talk and communication
💬 Critical thinking and goal planning
💪 Dealing with adversity and building resilience
📈 Choosing a growth mindset
⌚️ Time and budget management

Exciting News! 🚀 15 young leaders, aged 15-24, living with type 1 diabetes from NSW, ACT, TAS, and QLD have kicked off the 2023 DiaBuddies Youth Leadership program! Guided by Generation Thrive, they'll build essential skills to inspire and support others in the diabetes community.

The scholarship runs until December 2023, with a 12-week online leadership training program. After graduating, these inspiring leaders will support younger kids at a DiaBuddies event in 2023.
