The skin cleansing in the morning prepares the face for the day's expected environmental effects. We suggest a film-forming primer before applying a moisturizer as an additional barrier to environmental pollutants.

The purpose of the evening cleanse is to get rid of soot, airborne particles, and other potential skin impurities that might be present on the skin's surface.
