Stop the spread in SA 03/12/2021

To our Select Health Group patients and community; as you may be aware, the ‘Trinity Medical Centre (Waiting Room)’ has been identified as a recent exposure site for Tuesday 30th November, between 12pm-2pm. The waiting room that has been identified as the exposure site is in the other building (single-story section). Please rest assured, at this stage, this does not directly affect us at Select Health Group (Level 1, Westcare Specialist Centre building).

Our strict adherence to masks for both patients and providers, check-ins and the procedures we have in place to protect our community will ensure we continue to mitigate the risk of exposure and are able to continue to look after you. As always, if you feel you are developing any symptoms, no matter how mild, please make sure you get tested. https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/health-community/stop-the-spread-in-sa

Please do not hesitate to contact us directly is you have any questions or concerns regarding your appointment. We appreciate your ongoing support as we navigate this time.

Stop the spread in SA Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness caused by a new virus. The virus can spread from person to person. Symptoms may include fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, or loss or taste or smell.

22/11/2021

To our valued patients,
With our state opening up as of Tuesday 23rd November, the health and safety of our patients, providers and team at Select Health Group is our top priority.

Whilst you are attending our clinic we ask you help us look after you by observing the following:
• Surgical masks to be worn correctly and at ALL TIMES during your treatment session to all appointments. No cloth masks. If you do not have a surgical mask we will happily supply you with one on your arrival. If you have a medical exemption regarding wearing a mask, please present the exemption to Reception, and will make note on your file for future appointments.
• Covid questionnaires will be required to be completed by all patients, regardless of how frequent or infrequent you attend. If you have recently returned from overseas or interstate, please observe any quarantine directions you have been advised to follow.
• We ask you continue to adhere to current contact tracing regulations by checking in with your myGov app, completing the individual slips located on the counter or by speaking to reception to be written on our contact tracing list. Your privacy will be upheld at all times. You may be asked to produce evidence of your check-in.
• Routine temperature checks will also be required for all patients by our reception staff before you go in to your appointment. If you do present with a temperature you will ask to reschedule your appointment.
• No visitors or additional guests will be permitted within the treatment room (unless for support or communication requirements)
• Treatment beds, chairs, doors and any other contact surfaces will be continued to be cleaned and disinfected between each and every patient
• For extra comfort and reassurance, we have installed air purifiers in each treatment room

If you have the slightest of symptoms, no matter how mild, we please ask you call and reschedule your appointment. If you attend your appointment showing any symptoms you may be asked to leave and reschedule, regardless of the urgency.

We thank everyone in our Select Health Group community for their continued support and understanding whilst we navigate this together and continue to look after each other.
