We are pleased to advise that the Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held as follows:
Wednesday 16 August 2022
5:00pm
Majoribanks Room 128 (Nexus 10, Pulteney Street, Adelaide) and online via Zoom www.linktr.ee/adelaidemsa
Nominations for the Mature Students Association Committee open today for current students.
Positions are:
Executive Committee:
· President
· Vice-President
· Secretary
· Treasurer
General Committee:
· Events Officer
· Equity & Diversity Officer (2 positions)
· First year representative
· General committee members (multiple positions)
All committee positions shall be subject to re-election.
All Association members are encouraged nominate for a position on the committee; current committee members are also eligible to renominate.
If you wish to nominate, please reply to this email, with your name, number, and the position you are applying for.
Nominations close Tuesday 15 August at 5pm.
In the event of more than one person nominating for a position, polling will be held as per the Constitution.
The Annual General Meeting will be held in person and via Zoom – www.linktr.ee/adlelaide
At the AGM the new committee will be installed.
Please consider nominating, the Mature Students Association cannot run without volunteers.
If you're a business student in your last year, or recently graduated, please consider completing this research for QUT. There's two $50 gift cards to be won by those who complete the questionnaire.
We are currently asking members to respond to our survey, so we can present data to Infrastructure demonstrating how important a suitable lounge is to our members in regards to not only a study space, but a social space in which mature students can relax with other mature students, share experiences and connect.
