Have you been to one of our Connect & Play groups? They aren't your usual playgroups - the vast majority are run by parent volunteers and don't have structured activities. Instead they focus on parents connecting and building a support network; so no matter how young your babies are it's worth the effort.
No need for MBSA membership or to RSVP, just come along!
Details of these groups which run across the State can be found on our website: https://www.multiplebirthsa.org.au/services/multiple-birth-groups/

Contrary to popular belief, sleep consultants don't generally advocate for 'cry it out'. Instead, they work with you and your family to nurture the needs of your multiples while fostering healthy sleep habits.
MBSA members get 15% off with the Comprehensive Support Package and she doesnβt charge extra for multiples across her range of packages.
In addition, MBSA members get free access to her set of three multiple birth specific webinars that cover sleeping topics for newborns and children up to four year olds. These sessions normally cost $39 each and are a great starting point to better understand your children's sleep needs.π€

Breastfeeding is such a difficult topic for so many mums, and especially for mums of multiples.
This World Breastfeeding Week the theme is βbreastfeeding support for allβ. In Australia, 1 in 5 mums of multiples said they felt very underprepared to breastfeed. Itβs clear that multiple birth families need more specific breastfeeding and support services in Australia and we continue to advocate for this πͺ
We are proud that so many of our local multiple birth clubs have volunteers who provide breastfeeding support or can help new mums of multiples find the local support they need.
What support do you wish you had throughout your feeding journey with your multiples? Tell us in the comments π
We're here for you! Expecting twins, triplets or more? This is the multiple birth group you've been looking for! Whether it be for advise on what you need to prepare? Think cars, prams, feeding...with multiples it's a whole new ball game.

Just by being a member you have access to free breast feeding pillow hire through as well as access to our exclusive sales page (best spot to find a bargain).
New members get a $30 Foodland voucher when joining too! This offsets a large portion of the initial upfront cost of joining MBSA and helps multi-families save when they need it most πΈ

Did you know that there are free multiple birth specific antenatal classes in Adelaide? The Women's and Children's and the Lyell McEwin run them monthly/quarterly and they are a great way to get an introduction to the multiple birth journey. As multiples are often born early we recommend booking in by 30 weeks gestation. These classes are run by the hospitals, not MBSA, so you'll need to contact them directly for more information and to book. Check out the details on our website: https://www.multiplebirthsa.org.au/ser.../antenatal-classes/
Last chance!! Ticket sales for the People First Community Lottery close in 3 days!π° It will be drawn this Thurs ACST 11:59pm. Currently we are half way to our fundraising goal and we would greatly appreciate your support in sharing this with your family and friends.
Why donate to MBSA you ask? We are a-not-for profit community group which operates on generosity and volunteers. MBSA celebrates and supports families with the unique challenges experienced by those in a twin, triplet or more family. We do it, because we've been there and know just how tough it can be. The more we raise, the more we can do to support this community. Tickets cost as little as $2 and who knows you might just get lucky too!
