The first of our Field River Kaurna and Community Walk & Talk Tours was held on Saturday 5th November 2022. It was a beautiful day for the walk led by Quahli from Southern Cultural Immersion, who shared with us her vast knowledge of Kaurna connection to country. Quahli’s sharing of knowledge has provided us with a greater understanding of how Kaurna cared for and used the abundant natural resources in the Lower Field River area.
This event was generous funded by Green Adelaide and supported by Friends of the Lower Field River, Friends of Upper Field River, Trees For Life and the City of Marion.
