Adelaide could do better if they had festivals.

What do you love about Adelaide?

Our Parking Policy in the City just doesn't make sense in so many instances across Adelaide. Just outside Cafe Troppo there are no cars here on a Saturday morning yet we are being charged for parking. Are we raising revenue (no...) or are we encouraging turnover (no...)... so why charge for parking? I want a complete review of our parking policy across Adelaide to support local businesses and encourage people to enjoy a beautiful city.

What actions could the government take to reduce crime?

Preserving the park and being open to development is not impossible.

The Adelaide Park Lands Act

On council my initial priorities will be:

🌳Protect and Restore our Park Lands - with a 25year masterplan which includes an Adelaide Recreation Circuit to create a continuous loop around the city with either a tunnel or bridge, under or over every road.

📈Set the following Financial Controls - Rate Increase equal to LGPI, 2% Surplus, new debt repaid within 15 years in the long-term financial plan. As opposed to: Rate increases from $104M in 2018 to $122M in 2022 which is an 18% increase in rate revenue in 4 years, No Surplus (87k in the context of $213M revenue).

💻Implement SmartCity Technology - such as Smart Waste Management Systems, Smart Traffic Control Systems, Smart Air Quality Sensors and Smart Street Lighting

👍Clean Adelaide – removing gum from pathways, and grime from building facades and respond to rubbish dumping through a “Snap Send Solve” phone app.
