This month we are shining the spotlight on Endometriosis - A chronic disease which affects nearly one million Australian women with pelvic pain. Whilst there is no cure, and the actual cause of endometriosis is unknown, we do know that tissue grows on the outside of the uterus, causing inflammation and pelvic pain. Ultrasound and MRI are medical imaging techniques performed at The X-Ray Group to gain insight into the organs and structures within the pelvic area.
