Created by self-described sports expert, amateur art fan and meme mastermind, LJ Rader, the account pairs current sports images with art that looks like depictions of the event. The unexpected mashups are even cooler when you consider that Rader recalls most of the art from memory and often pulls from images he has taken as a frequent museum-goer.

Designed by in 2004. The design process included 168 massive steel plates which were welded together for a completely seamless exterior. The Bean is 33 feet high, 42 feet wide, and 66 feet long. It weighs about 110 tons — roughly the same as 15 adult elephants.

We set out to create a slim pedestal table that could go just about anywhere. Chit Chat’s beginnings involved exploring a variety of shapes for the top and base. Making both circular kept it feeling friendlier.

Next, we tweaked scale and proportion until we had the just-right size for all occasions. We designed the fl**ge around the rim to add interest and prevent spillage. Finally, we played with pairing materials. We loved the idea of mixing and matching tops and bottoms, combining finishes like Cherry Gold marble and stainless steel, for an elegant and exciting look.

Ariana, what are you doing here??? Either way, she's looking Dandy in the latest cover art for her upcoming album, 'Eternal Sunshine.'

It’s rare that a chair is so defined by its sketch, but Skald captured us from the start. Our goal was to create a low-profile lounge chair that fit nearly any style and setting. The design process quickly became all about balance. A steel framework allowed for a minimal, linear silhouette, but it took some fine-tuning to ensure it was equally strong without being unwieldy.

The slim seat involved the same tricky math. We refined the foam until we had a minimal profile that hit the comfort sweet spot — firm yet yielding. We then added leather upholstery from one of the oldest family run tanneries in Italy, as well as an alpaca velvet and Maharam option. The result is a chair that’s modern yet classic, straightforward yet architectural.
