Mark your diaries and send a message to Mark! Our Director of Referees will be holding a Level 1 Referee Course on the 13th October for those wishing to get accredited.
We're always keen to hear from anyone wanting to referee games, so if you have any questions, have a chat with Mark and he will help you out.

A big congratulations from us all to Keeley Pelkonen, who is now also representing Victoria in the U15 School Sports Victoria team 💪 We can't wait to see what you can do at this tournament as well!

To enable our planning for the upcoming Captain's Meeting (Wed 21st August, 7pm at the Red Lion) could all captains or a representative from each team please fill out the short form in the link above. We need to know what teams are planning on entering the upcoming season so we can email important information out to captains prior to the meeting next week and to enable us to plan effectively.

Heads up to our BTA community! Things are happening to prep for our upcoming 24/25 season and we are welcoming all members of our BTA community to be involved in helping to make it the best season yet: each and every season is run on volunteer energy, so the more people we have involved, the smoother it runs and the more we can offer that you all really want! Come along to our Committee Meeting this Wednesday at the Red Lion and don't forget our Captain's Meeting happening next Wednesday with important information for all teams to know before stepping on the field this season.

It's a double header tonight! A huge congratulations to former BTA rep player Khanui Cox, who played in the Australian Mens 35s team at the recent Touch World Cup and brought home the gold medal!

We're so proud to see our BTA players take their touch football to the world stage. Well done!

Western Vic Warriors (VT Touch League) Expression of Interest The Victoria Touch (VT) League is an inter-club competition held on Sundays, starting from September 15 and concluding with the finals on November 17. We are seeking expressions of interest from touch football players in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Portland, and Warrnambool who are eager to elevate....

📣 Uni students 📣 Part-timers 📣 Flexi workers 📣 We need our community's help! We have local Ballarat schools who want to bring touch football to their students and we need a few more coaches to be able to accommodate them all (a good problem to have!) If you can spare a couple of hours a week to go into a school, with support coaches, we'd love to hear from you! This is a paid position and we are looking for people who have a volunteer WWC and a good understanding of touch football and the ability to communicate well. We will provide you with a program outline and equipment - we just need your enthusiasm for a few hours a week for up to 4 weeks.

As our new Summer season approaches (dates will be announced soon - stay tuned!) we're moving back to our regular programming, which means it's ! Congratulations Keeley & Will on your selection in the Touch Football Victoria teams for the Doordash National Youth Championships in September! We are immensely proud of you both and will be cheering you on from Ballarat during the Championships. :)

Primary schools around Ballarat have been contacted about the program we are offering in partnership with Sports Central, but if you would like to give your support for your school to be involved, message us to get a copy of our brochure to take into your school to get as many Ballarat kids involved as possible!
We need our community to help support growing our game in Ballarat!
