Our resident therapy dog Walter was incredibly eager to watch one of his little human clients play football today. Walter and I braved the blustery, Arctic weather conditions to see our client in her element on the field. What an absolute privilege it was to watch! Walter lapped up all the cuddles and scratches but the highlight for him was definitely when she came running over at half time and said hello. We love nothing more than seeing our clients do the things they love. 🏉 🐶

NAIDOC Week, 2024
This year's theme celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced. The fire represents the enduring strength and vitality of Indigenous cultures, passed down through generations despite the challenges faced. It is a symbol of connection to the land, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As we honour this flame, we kindle the sparks of pride and unity, igniting a renewed commitment to acknowledging, preserving, and sharing the cultural heritage that enriches our nation.
We start our term 3 classes at the very end of July - we have some places left, especially in the new class we just made, Thursday 5:15! If you know anyone who would love to come to art class, tag them ❤️
If you have any questions, just shoot me a message ✨🎨🖌️
As of Monday, July 1st, the NDIA has introduced increases to some price arrangements and limits, increasing the maximum limit that can be charged for certain services and supports. This might seem alarming, but please don’t stress. All NDIS plans affected by the increases are indexed. This means that with a price increase, additional money is placed into plans to cover any rising costs.
If you notice some of your providers increase their prices as of next week, you should be notified by them of this. Communicating a price increase, even if your service agreement states the provider will automatically increase prices to be aligned with the NDIS price arrangements, should still be done to explain the reasons for the increase. Increasing prices without any communication is poor practice.
You can find more information on the price increases via the NDIS website here ➡️ https://bit.ly/4bthcWd
